Manufacturer’s Warranty Statement
“Above
and Beyond” is our standard for customer service at PC Locs Pty. Ltd. We
consistently strive to exceed the industry norm and this is just a part of our
ongoing commitment to your satisfaction.
All PC
Locs branded Products are warranted and tested to be free of defects in
workmanship and materials, and to conform to the published specifications for
the duration of the Warranty Period.
During the
Warranty Period should your PC Locs Product fail under normal use, PC Locs will
repair or replace, at its cost and option, the Product subject to the conditions
and limitations described below.

Extent of Five-Year Warranty
The
Five-Year Limited Warranty means that from the original date of dispatch PC Locs
will repair or replace, at its option and cost, the following items:
1.
For a period of Five-years; any defect or fault found in the general
structure including welding and assembly;
2.
For a period of Three-Years; any defect or fault found in materials
excluding the specific components mentioned below; and
3.
For a period of One-Year; any defect or fault found in components including
security cables and leashes, security keyed-locks, wheels, castors,
electrical power boards, electrical cabling, electrical devices and charging
systems;

The following
PC Locs branded Products are covered by a full one-year limited warranty (unless
a Two-Year Extended warranty option was opted for at the time of purchase).

Extent of One-Year Warranty
The
One-Year Limited Warranty means that from the original date of dispatch PC Locs
will repair or replace, at its option and cost, the following items:
1.
For a period of One-Year; any defect or fault found in the general structure
including welding and assembly;
2.
For a period of One-Year;
any defect or fault found in materials excluding the specific components
mentioned below; and
3.
For a period of One-Year;
any defect or fault found in components including security cables and
leashes, security keyed-locks, wheels, castors, electrical power boards,
electrical cabling, electrical devices and charging systems;

The following
PC Locs branded Products are covered by an optional extended two-year limited
warranty.

Extent of Two-Year Warranty Extension (Optional Extra)
The
Two-Year Warranty Extension means that from the expiration of the Standard
Warranty Period PC Locs will repair or replace, at its option and cost, the
following items:
1.
For an additional period of Two-years; any defect or fault found in the
general structure including welding and assembly;
Limitations
This
warranty does not apply where damage is caused by; normal wear and tear;
accident; abuse; mishandling; improper installation; improper usage; exposure to
liquids or chemicals; service or modifications to the Product other than by PC
Locs or authorised service agents; shipment or transit; or problems induced by
or a consequence of the application of electrical power. In addition, any
physical damage, abuse or alteration to the Product, including tampering with
Product serial numbers will void the Product warranty. Any damage attributed to
any of the above causes will be repaired at the cost of the sender.
This
warranty does not cover the replacement of any consumables; the cost of transit
of the Product to a PC Locs designated repair centre and its return; repair or
replacement of any Product damaged during transit to or from PC Locs; corrosion
or surface deterioration due to puncturing or damage of original surface
finishes; or any loss or consequential damage incurred while the Product is
being repaired.
This
warranty extends to only the original buyer and proof of purchase, along with
the date of purchase, is required in order to make a warranty claim.
Any
repaired or replaced Product will be warranted only for the remainder of the
original Warranty Period.
Disclaimer
The
foregoing limited warranty is exclusive. There are no other warranties,
including any implied warranty. The warranty is not affected in any part by PC
Locs providing technical support or advice.
PC
Locs is not responsible for consequential damage or loss, or failure of any
third party devices, equipment or facilities. This limitation does not apply to
the extent that it is illegal under applicable law.
Warranty Registration
To
ensure a Product is accepted for warranty support please register your PC Locs
Product within 30‑days of purchase by completing and sending back the
Warranty
Registration form, or contact PC Locs Head
Office for a form to be faxed or posted out to you.
Warranty Claim Procedure
1.
Digital photographs of the item or component being claimed under warranty
must be forwarded, along with proof and date of purchase by email to PC Locs
Head Office at
sales@pclocs.com.au
2.
The claim will be assessed by PC Locs and if approved PC Locs will provide a
Return Material Authorisation (RMA) number and specify the address to which
the Product must be returned.
Note the approval at this stage is conditional pending final assessment on
receipt of the Product and full investigation of the warranty claim.
3.
The Product along with original proof of purchase (and date of purchase)
must then be returned to the specified address at the sender’s cost and
liability. The RMA number must be recorded on all shipping documentation and
be securely attached to the Product itself.
4. PC
Locs will make a further assessment of the warranty claim and if approved
will proceed with the repair/replacement at its option. If the damage or
defect is deemed to be outside of warranty provisions the sender will be
notified.
5. PC
Locs endeavours to complete all warranty repairs within six-weeks of receipt
and the sender will be notified when the Product is ready to be picked up.
6.
The assigned RMA number must be quoted in all correspondence relating to the
warranty claim.
