How many Carry Baskets are included in the iQ Wall Cages?

Two (2) 8-slot aluminium Carry Baskets (one Carry Basket per Wall Cage).

What colour Carry Baskets will I receive with the iQ Wall Cages?

Two Green.

Will my devices fit inside the iQ Wall Cages?

There is a simple template that you can download in the section below to determine whether or not your devices will fit. The template allows you to measure your device to the Carry Basket. All you have to do is download the file, print it to scale on an A3 size paper and place your device within the guide to see if it fits. Instructions are included on the template. Can we swap our 30-pin cables or have the Lightning Connector cables sent to us when they are available, free of charge?

The 30-pin cables are supplied as a bonus for a limited time only and cannot be swapped. Lightning Connector cables can be purchased at an additional cost.

My iQ Wall Cages will sync but will not charge?

In order to start charging, the data cable needs to be removed from the iQ Wall Cages. Once the data cable is removed, syncing will stop, the charge light will emit when in charge mode and charging will commence.

How long does syncing take?

Syncing times will vary and depend on two things. 1) The amount of content to be transferred or synced to the device, and 2) The number of devices connected to the iQ Wall Cages.

Can I sync and charge my devices at the same time?

No. Once you plug in the data cable from the iQ Wall Cages to your MacBook, the syncing process commences and charging will stop. The connector cable needs to be removed in order to revert back to charging.

Can I purchase additional Carry Baskets?

Yes. Please contact us for details.

Will the iQ Wall Cages support other devices?

The iQ Wall Cages can support other 10" Tablet devices as long as they fit within the template for the Carry Basket (see download below). We do not recommend using devices smaller than 10" for security reasons. The device must also support USB syncing and charging functionality.

Are you having problems syncing more than 25 devices with iTunes/Apple Configurator on your MacBook?

In June 2013, a range of Apple products incorporated the new 4th Generation Intel Core vPro Processors (Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i7). The new 4th Generation Intel Core vPro Processor products limits the number of devices which can be connected via their USB ports to a maximum of 25. We've developed a software update to enable syncing and charging of more than 25 devices. Simply download the Haswell update (below) from the link below, follow the instructions and carry on syncing and charging.

My devices aren't being recognized?

For iOS 11.4.1 devices or later (you can check your iOS version in Settings > General > About and look down at which Version the device is running), to allow the device to be recognized by LocknCharge unit you may need to do one of the following steps:

Do not enable a passcode on iOS devices
-OR- for iOS devices with passcodes, simply unlock the device prior to plugging in
-OR- update Settings > Touch ID & Passcode > scroll
